East Midlands Demolition Limited - Clearing the way for the future

First Volvos for East Midlands Demolition

Third party references have prompted East Midlands Demolition to opt for a brace of Volvo excavators for its fleet of demolition equipment. The pair of 21 tonne excavators brings the current size of the EMD fleet up to 20 plant machines: a number that includes excavators, demolition machines and loading shovels. In addition to its plant machinery East Midlands Demolition also owns and operates a large number of excavator attachments:

The company has chosen two Volvo EC210BLC 21 tonne excavators. The excavators can be piped for a number of quick fitting attachments, and have an operating weight of 21,300 kg. With a maximum bucket load of 1.6 cubic metres, and a swing arm operation that can reach down into a pit on a flat vertical plane level with the front of the booth, the EC210BLC is a perfect all rounder and ideal for swelling the East Midlands Demolition fleet.

With a rapidly swelling order book, Peter Siddall's new company needs all the extra machinery it can get. The company undertakes all forms of demolition contracts within a 60 mile radius of Derbyshire —including:

East Midlands Demolition operates with a special focus on sustainability, recycling as much material as possible from every job. The company is an expert provider of ‘total’ demolition services, where the site ground is cleaned and prepared for new projects once existing structures have been pulled down.

Formed after Peter Siddall sold his original demolition and surfacing group, retired, and discovered he didn't like golf quite as much as he liked running a C&D company, East Midlands Demolition has got quickly off the mark as a name to recognise in the Derbyshire area. Future plans for EMD include a potential sponsorship deal with Derbyshire County Cricket Club; the adoption of a local Charity of the Year; and an overall growth that will see the company take top spot in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire's contract demolition and reclamation industries. Watch this space — the two new Volvos are just the beginning.
